WEDDINGS

The Episcopal Church holds that marriage is a bond and covenant established by God in creation. "The union of husband and wife...is intended by God for their mutual joy; for the help and comfort given one another in prosperity and adversity; and, when it is God's will, for the procreation of children and their nurture in the knowledge and love of the Lord."

St. Paul's Church uses the form of the marriage rite found in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer

We regard the service as a sacramental rite, and all aspects of the wedding should reflect its character as such. Details regarding weddings at St. Paul's Church can be found on the document "A Customary for Marriages," revised and updated November 4, 2004. Please call the church office for a copy.

Please contact the rector for information about planning your wedding.
