Saint Paul’s Chorister Program

The Saint Paul’s Chorister program and Choir School is a multi-faceted musical opportunity for boys and girls ages 8 and up. We use the word school because our emphasis is on the education and development of each child. During rehearsals, we learn healthy vocal technique, how to read music, and how to be leaders within our community. The choristers perform both on their own, and with the accomplished Saint Paul’s Adult Choir, giving our youth the opportunity to perform with professional musicians from throughout the Philadelphia region.

Our young singers also have the opportunity to study a musical instrument through the choir school program, for which a limited number of scholarships are available. The study of a musical instrument greatly enforces the music skills taught in choir. In order to qualify for instrumental instruction, the child must make a commitment to the choir program.

For our Chorister program and Choir School, no prior musical experience is required and you do not have to be a member of Saint Paul’s Church to join.
