PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS

St. Paul's pulpit

We believe that Christians never stop growing. Our spiritual education is for life. We mean by this that it is life-long and its purpose is to build a meaningful life.

Spiritual growth – becoming like Jesus – doesn’t just happen. There needs to be a commitment to grow. When the disciples decided to follow Jesus, he took that foundational commitment and built on it. Here are some building blocks of spiritual growth.

Christian Meditation

Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. in the Chapel

Enter with a candle glowing. The leader begins by praying the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke. The period of meditation is about 40 minutes. There is teaching available for anyone who would like to learn to meditate. Meditation has been part of the Christian tradition from at least the 4th century and likely goes back to Jesus himself.
