Vestry Approves Property Work

Saint Paul’s continues the challenging task of restoring its property. The vestry at its February 28 meeting voted to spend over $50,000 on roof repairs where copper valleys and flashing have given way. One third of this expenditure qualifies for the Part- ners for Sacred Places grant the church received last year. The church apartment located under the organ pipes has seen little renovation in fifty years. The vestry voted to update electrical and plumbing systems and upgrade the kitchen and bathroom. Organist Zach Hemenway plans on living in the apartment beginning this spring.
